Hospice New Zealand

Hospice Wairarapa is a member of Hospice New Zealand. We gratefully acknowledge the support and advocacy they provide on behalf of hospices throughout New Zealand.

Hospice New Zealand is actively involved in research and education, workforce development, establishing standards of healthcare, providing information and advice to hospices, stakeholders and to the general public and helping and supporting hospices nationwide. Their objectives include:

• Obtaining government funding.

• Licensing.

• An annual inspection of hospices.

• Establishing standards and monitoring hospices at a national level.

• Providing education and resources.
